What does the treatment entail?
A consultation will be carried out to go through what results you would like to see and for me to chat about how the treatment will go. I go through medical history and current medications etc.
The treatment will involve a very small needle being inserted into hair follicles of the unwanted hair and heat being passed through to the bottom of the hair shaft to elimnate blood supply and effectively stop the hair from growing. You shall feel a heat sensation and it could be slightly uncomfortable.
How many treatments will I need?
This varies from person to person. Each persn has different density of hair growth, for example there could be 50-500 hairs packed into a small area of skin.
You will need to have regular appointments over a period of time, up to a year for most areas and sometimes more for denser areas.
Not all hair is growing at the same time, surprinsingly those 3-4 hairs on your chin could actually be 30 or more taking turns to grow!
On top of this, is hair thickness, skin sensitivity, dryness/dehydration and other factors that can effect elimination.
Appointment times can vary from 10 minutes to as much as several hours depending on the area being treated.
With commitment, your unwanted hair growth will definately be eliminated with electrolysis hair removal.
